UPDATE: I've edited permissions for the folder. AND YES, YOU MAY SUBMIT ART FOR ANY OTHER CHALLENGES YOU'RE DOING THIS MONTH. So long as it's within the same rules I wrote up for the folder, you may submit the other challenges here. I've begun moving the inktober submissions there. If I miss moving yours over to the new folder, please tell me so I can correct this.

Thanks so much for your patience!

Hey guys! It's October, which means several of you (myself included) are working to successfully draw an inking every day for the drawing challenge known as #Inktober! I'd love to help celebrate your guys' hard work. Because of this, I've set up a new folder which you can find here: loveocs.deviantart.com/gallery…

We're accepting pretty much any theme or prompt list you'd like to follow (as long as it follows our submission guidelines as listed on the main page. Both traditional and digital inkings are welcome.

:bulletred:Rules::bulletred:
1) Only submit your best inktober submissions.
2) No fan art or fan characters of any kind.
3) Remember to follow our submission guidelines as listed on the main page.
4) IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING TRADITIONAL WORK, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PIECE IS PROFESSIONALLY PRESENTABLE. Please see this journal for guidelines: How Do I Submit Traditional Pieces? -Quick GuideHello! Mod RoseyRoseyMae here! A few days ago one of our members asked this question,
"...I mainly do traditional art, so I need to take photographs of my sketchbook in order to post them. I was wondering if this went against the rules of 'low quality pictures' or not. If it's not too much trouble, could I have a bit more detail on what constitutes a 'high quality photo', if it is not against the rules to submit art in this format?"
That's actually a very valid question. Because the answer might be useful to other members, I'll be answering this publicly as well.  After all, I spent years taking photos of my own traditional media before my family bought a scanner. And, in the cases of charcoal drawings and acrylic paintings, I still have to take photos of my work as it's a required skill all traditional media artists must learn.
:star:What We Expect:star:
The art photographed should be clear and crisp. This way, we can see the detail nicely.

It doesn't matter if you're able to finish the entire month (I'm in college at this time so it's amazing I've kept up thus far), so long as you're able to celebrate your artistic growth.

It's great that you created a special folder for this event! But I can't submit anything to it, the folder seems to be closed. Help, please? :(
