So yes, hi folks, this is IntrovertedPencil of the staff and I'm here to help out our delicious members.
Many deviants have their artwork declined every day and we always give out reasons to why exactly this was done, if people ask. Of course, we don't spell out an essay, just provide the essentials.
But sometimes it's not enough.
This is where I step forward, smack myself on the chest and scream at the top of my lungs:
*cough* So yes, if your deviation was declined because of quality control, feel free to ask for critique. I will provide as much help as I possibly can.

Hello dear Members of LoveOCs,
As a founder I would like to apologise to everyone who contributed to our gallery in the past and had their submissions wiped out by a recent gallery reset. This decision was made without my knowledge and permission, and I'm really sorry to see that the history of this group was so recklessly erased.
Because of this event I've decided to make changes in LoveOCs team and rules. People responsible for the gallery reset were removed from the team. Such decisions shouldn't be made behind founder's back and without full support from group members.

In the last journal entry http://fav.me/dccyo5y, I talked a bit about how Andramor (https://www.deviantart.com/andramor) and I are cleaning up the gallery to keep things consistent with the group. It's rather difficult when it's basically just the two of us clearing out old deviations that don't belong. This group is really old and had collected a wide variety of deviations. Most of the pieces in our gallery were amazing, but a lot of them were from times before the rules were in place. It'd be pretty confusing to an onlooker who wants to submit but sees pieces that conflict with the current rules.

Thanks once again for keeping our group active. It's always fun logging in and seeing the wide-variety of characters that flow through our gallery. I wanted to give you guys a quick heads-up about certain gallery changes that will be happening with the group within the next couple weeks.
